That would be no problem. If you have your storage with a combo lock I'll be in San Fran in 2 weeks. Send me the combo and I'll make your tape with the wax I'll barrow ;)

By the way,to any UK punkers out there,I really want(need :D )a copy of the O-LEVELS "EAST SHEEN" 7" original pressing or repressing and the "BULLSHIT DETECTOR 1" on Crass Records. I don't remember if the comp is a double(like part 2)or a single LP. I'd offer $150-$200 for the original or $10 for the repress. Help me please!

Vinyl shops have died a death over here. Even the legendary Probe records in Liverpool has a poor selection. Sadly it seems the only way to get any older vinyl is via evilbay.

I'm just not into allot of emo. To me it's not really punk. The bands I do like are Moss Icon,Heroin,Hated...that's about it.

donnierobot,I was going through some of my records and zines earlier and I do have a decent amount of what is emo. Especially stuff like Frail,Policy of 3,Ashes,Hoover,Lincoln,Flagman,etc.

Ad your self to that list if you want. After reading a couple of old No Answers zines(Kent McClard's old zine)emo is another form of punk(much like grindcore). If no one else picks some emo tunes I'll trade you a cd of late 70's punk from all over the world.

I'd be down to throw in some OG British Punk to trade for some OG US punk, but Lurkers Mix is still givin' me nose bleeds so I ain't lookin' for any contemporary thrash, death, grindcore or whatever prefix is applicable to 'metal' in the last 5 minutes! ;)

Old school or no school! :D

You just missed out! The record store here just had all the Bullshit Detectors for $40 each at the end of 07. I didn't pick any up cuz it was a little steep for me at the time. I think somewhere I have one of those 90s crust distro bootleg tapes of it. If I find it and you want it it's yours.

Scary Andy, put your name on the list. Fuck it,that goes for anyone just do it...it should be fun. If there is anything you don't really want,we'll work it out. If you want an all OG USA punk/HC tape/cd I'll make it.

I just think listing your tops along with your board name and # will make it easier for me to follow up.

Not that it wouldn't be a good idea, but that wasn't the premise behind why I started the thread. I'm not old but I definitely consider myself old school and thus I grew up in an age where we had no computers and we wrote everyone. It was great to come home and get 10+ letters/packages EVERYDAY for about 15 years!!! The DIY effort and communication between the punks who were eager to find out about other scenes, countries, punks, etc was magical. Not that the computer hasn't been useful(i use my computer at least 4 hours a day!)but the sense of mailing and writing other people is fucking dead. I thought it would be bad-ass to somewhat pay homage to the past.

I'll get into it, I don't have or know a lot about the hardcore so I'd love to hear some different shit...

I like the package in the mail idea better than a download to, downloads are cool, I've heard a bunch of great stuff from the RFSO radio that I hadn't listened to before, but getting something in the mail is definitely the best.
