I'm Andy. I may be a little quiet to start with as i read posts and familiarise myself with things. This doesn't mean to say i'll never post again but i'd prefer to make a few informed posts than infect the whole board with verbal diarrohea (at least initially anyway)
Heh, yeah.........i think i'll be spending more time over here and less over - ahem - there. I'm picking information up slowly about the different companys, figures etc involved and there's loads to take in. I have to say i feel myself drawn more and more to the paintjobs involved even if some of the sculpts are a little way out there for me still I will pipe up with any questions i have if the search bar fails to answer them for me.
A good thing to do would be to try and get some Super7 magazine back issues... they REALLY fill in a lot of the blanks to many questions you might have. Plus they're just great resources to have around anyway.
Welcome, and enjoy your stay. There's definitely a ton of information around here and reading older threads always brings some new discoveries to light. What Japanese companies / toys are you into right now?
Welcome Andy. Always nice to see new people starting things off with a proper howdydoo ...Oh and say soolong to your money and hello to credit card debts
And remember lotsa answers can be found with the search function. Not only is it helpful, it keeps you out of......uh, lively discussions. (If you've lurked, I think you know what I mean.) Welcome aboard!
Welcome & enjoy the ride, make sure your seatbelt is fastened and your table tray is in the upright position, it can get bumpy
Thank-you. I picked a good chunk of the Stevens up off Scary Andy a while back As far as favorite toy companys go i'm still learning a lot about who makes what etc. Gargamel seem to do a lot of good stuff - i'm starting to pick the Killers up to go with my Bwana stuff. Favorite sculpts at the moment - Damnedron (sp?) is growing on me as well as Dragamel & Smogun. I'm definitely gonna pick up a few back issues of S7 and just keep reading around to help familiarise myself more. Thanks again for the welcomes - seems like a good place to pass the time
