    Help identifying this Zagoran?
Hey...very possible that this is a totally stupid n00b question, but I wasn't sure where the most appropriate place to post this was. If I'm out of line, please, fire a warning shot before taking direct aim.

Saw this Zag today (thanks for the link, Deadbone) and fell instantly in love, but haven't seen it anywhere else. Anybody know the scoop on this one...couldn't be custom, right? My relative oblivion when it comes to kaiju leads me to be the first to point out that just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it's anything special...I'm just at a loss as to where to look...

The main thing for me--of course--is the GID vinyl guts...different than the ones I've seen with just the printed header card inside.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And again...if this is the wrong place for this, please just let me know.

    Thanks!

I believe it's from one of the gargamel luckybags from a few years ago. Not sure what year it was introduced but. I think there is that one and an unpainted grey one with guts.

Yeah, it's from 2007 Lucky Bag. It is such a beautiful Zag.

I don't see them come up for sale that often but good luck in your search!

Really appreciate the responses...I'll have to do some digging. Frankly--obviously, I think--I'm less obsessed with the paint job and mostly concerned with the GUTS! so whichever version is 'track downable' is fine with me.

I'll of course keep my ears to the ground and eyes on the sky. If anybody is aware of one out there looking for a home, this is me officially saying that I have a zag-sized hole in my heart.

Not to ask a stupid question, but is there anything out there akin to the Garbage Pail Kids checklist for Zag/other kaiju? Like a pusfan-type compendium of all known 'official' releases?

My favorite gut zags by far is the Harawata versions, org or black. Both of those colors rock, though this one comes at a close second.

Those Gargamel lucky bags throw out some wild versions . . . . . . . This kinda reminds me of last years Gammepa . . . is there any story or 'history' behind these colourways?

There, I believe, are a few checklists in some of the threads. Once the search function works start there. Also some people have insane collections of fullsize zags and you might be able to make a visual record off one of those. gargamel.jp has some on there but clearly not all of them.

Really appreciate all the rad pointers you guys.

I guess I need to rock a want list out...I hadn't imagined that folks look at those and let you know when they're trying to get rid of something, but as I browse around, I see that maybe there's no real truth to that sentiment?

In any event...zag rules, and so does everybody else who's been so nice and welcoming.

Have a great weekend. The only thing better than a dragon is a giant, one-eyed, happy dragon.

I have this one and the unpainted. I bought them at release without even realizing that the guts were GID so it was a pleasant bonus surprise. I like the crazy paint on this one but the unpainted is nice too. Couple of my favorite Zags.

a great zag. My favorite is the dark blue harawata version--this would be my other favorite. I hope you find it.
