Another way to look at it using your example...if you were starting a company from scratch and after years of hard work and subsequent success you were able to have commercials on TV wouldn't that be a dream come true of sorts?

man the mecha one is so cool but sadly I'll never own one as he's gone the bemon yja route. I'm sure the original lottery price was out of my league anyway. total bummer. someone should donate one to me & write it off on their tax return.

Has he gone YJA completely? damn, such a shame. They are really neat toys, too bad it only comes down to how much coin you have and how bad you want them.

There goes my wishful thinking at ever owning one of these. ha!

yes, thats the mini that is basically the same size as the og pachi version.
hirota says the mini will be released soon ! and there's also a mecha ver.

There's a pic on his blog of it to scale with the original, which is smaller. So yeah looks like a new mini series!

actually the painted brown one on the right is also a repro from hxs, not the og vintage.

But it's the new mini sculpt right? Because that head looks way different from the regular HxS Gorilla Ju, much more like the vintage. He did a nice job recreating it!

Pretty cool, does anyone know if this is a remolding of the original toy, or if they resculpted it. Hard to tell with that black shot and the low resolution of the 2nd, but it looks identical to the vintage.

Possibly even OG molds? Maybe just a coincidence but the Finkshit was brought back to life using one of the original wax pulls that managed to survive the interim 15 years or so intact . . . It's a cool development however Hirota's managed to pull it off.

You can actually make molds directly from an existing vinyl. No need to even mold it and do new wax.
