My first iPhone had a speaker defect, so I was mailed a replacement, it had a defect as well, it wouldn't work just gave an error message saying it couldn't read the sim card. Took it to Verizon they didn't know how to fix it and had me exchange it for a third iphone. The third iphone had the same problem as the seond, so I took it to apple. The genius bar said it was a common software problem and were able to get the phone working.
