    Well, he is in Japan I guess...I also purchased something from him recently and he seemed extremely professional.

    i'm probably paranoid... anyways, i wouldnt mind if the auction ended now where it is.

    To preclude drawing attention to an auction and having the price bid up, you should consider only sniping with your maximum bid in the last minute. There are services such as vrane and auctionstealer that do this for you for free. And right now your additional bid is just asking for someone to go and bid it up

    Bid the max you want to spend in the last minute, the amount that you would be happy to win or lose at. That way there is no second guessing on your part, works for me anyway.

    Is the auction I'm bidding on shady?
    Anything under $150.00 for that would be a steal IMO. I paid 17,000 yen for mine a couple months back.
