It's not "aye yi yi," It's "ay, ay, ay." It's not "cajones," it's "cojones." It's not "Tiajuana," it's Tijuana."
it's not UNnice, it's NOT nice! ...like nails on a chalk board, actually heard this in the woman's locker room
even going by that article, it's either "i'm good" or "i'm doing well." "i'm doing good" means something completely different, just as sbbenhcs mentioned. reading is funduhmental and as correct as it may be, i can't stand people that say "it's healthful," not "healthy."
The importance of correct grammar and punctuation cannot be overstated. Bill, come back to us. James and Oli are fine, but we are missing the third amigo! Recently spotted in Fredericton: source Really, is no one around to catch this at each of the various stages from initial draw-up to posting it in the ground?
Wahaha! It's funny, but also so, so disappointing that indeed people just can't seem to be bothered... Indeed, Bill, come back!
It's not "air on the side of caution", it's "err on the side of caution". A former coworker wrote this out in an email once and I couldn't help but cringe. Oh well, to err is human though, right?
years ago, I remember someone sending a department wide email including the phrase "take it & strive" where she meant "take it in stride". The email was sent as a result of facility management threatening to tow her car for continually parking in a handicap space. This is the same person who distributed a list of bootleg movies her boyfriend could burn to DVD for a fee. I should also mention her car was eventually towed because she wasn't making payments on it. She had fake boobs too, I would imagine those are a lot harder to repossess.
It's Really Not... Supposebly... It's actually "supposedly" Upmost respect... It's actually "utmost respect" For all intensive purposes... It's actually "for all intents and purposes" And these are just a few... Come on people, get better
