Read on, dear readers.... http://backseatcuddler.com/2008/07/30/j ... ht-sequel/ a good choice, methinks. I wish there was Harley Quinn too
i think the sequel should have at least six bad guys... that will be the perfect way to totally kill the cred the new movie built up.
I'm pretty sure everyone and their mother have seen this, but it's worth a posting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjp0I_okX0w
Totally. And at the very end...batman reveals himself to the public and they ALL Love him. On a serious note...meh..I think it'd be a bad choice. Depp is great but I'd rather see someone unexpected take on a villian role. I think Bale and Depp are already staring in some gangster era movie anyway..it's probably how the rumor got started.
I hope they stick to ONE villain. Maybe Penguin will be more like the modern version, a "legit" business owner (who allows illegal activity to go on behind the curtain.) PS- Fuck Burton Haters! Batman and Returns both kick ass, they're dark and gritty while still being (what they are) comic bookish. But I guess Burton hasn't done anything worth while in a long while.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_villains#Supervillains_and_themed_criminals There are bugger all good choices for Villains now to keep the "realistic" approach going. Maybe we will get Batman Vs Superman heh.
I re-watched recently and didn't enjoy them like I remembered. Certain scenes yes but overall they felt dated and sucky Totally crushed my memories heh. I think Burton's Sweeney Todd was good. Even though I can't stand musicals.
I can pick apart Begins as much as I can pick apart the first 2. There's flaws in them all, but overall I still like them most. But that's me, and a different conversation. The only thing I HATE about Burton Bats is Billy Dee as Dent. WTF?! Not even because he's black, just the actor, Lando can't be Two Face! Anyway, like I said, different conversation. As for "realistic" villains I think Riddler is perfect. He doesn't have a power, he's just a smart and clever guy. I think he'd be great. Penguin, for THIS series, meh I can't see it. I just say bring back Liam Neeson, let's get that Lazarus Pit pumping!
you never know though. I mean, Sam Raimi was adamant about not using venom and yet he someone changed his mind.
Same here, I'd read that he thought Riddler and Penguin were too silly to fit into his Bat-world. You never know, though ... I wonder how they're going to deal with the non-demise of Joker? Maybe not at all.
i had a feeling the riddler might be next, he can be twisted. but never would have guessed depp would be involved. i like him alot, but for this role, idk, well see. but who knows, whod have thought ledger would make a good joker? penguin on the other hand does seem a little too much for nolans vision, but if he works him in, it could be cool. who knows i think burton did it well.
