An additional second stage will feature MACHINEHEAD, BLACK TIDE, SUICIDE SILENCE, THE RED CHORD and WALLS OF JERICHO.
not really my cup of tea...i was invited to go but the only band i remotely like is Mastadon... are you into hardcore/punk??? if yeah,i couls recommend some bands to you...
Dragonforce, aren't they the poor man's Man-O-War? or is that the poor man's Dream Theater? JK I am a big fan of FantasyRock! Rainow is my favorite tho
...fantasy rock???....i am at work right now so I can't get into google or anything like that(so I know I am gonna spell this wrong)but I LOVED Rising Force with that Swedish guitar god Yngwie Malmsteen(??)...that guy was the shit as was this one video he did in the Conan exhibit at Universal Studios from the early 80's...and I like "Fear No Evil" by Grim Reaper too!
...c'mon scott...it can't be that bad...i'd go to meet girls and tun them onto hardcore/punk.... ...on on the subject of Slipknot, does anyone know what happened to the Slipknot who did that 7" on Revelation Records???...
i think Mastodon sucks in my opinion, im going mostly for slipknot, suicide silence, and the red chord.
yep it is a confirmed date, and im not sure if there working on a album, but i did here that this album is going to be really hard, more like their self titled and iowa
im into all kinds of metal, death metal, speed metal, Metal metal, Metal core, Grindcore, Gore metal, black metal, you name it ive most likely have heard em.
Yeah, it will be "Heavy like fuck!" according to the words of Joey, but it will also be their most experimental album.
I decided to break out some Slipknot today... Some of it's pretty great like I remember and they do put on quite a stage show. I remember loving King Diamond shows for the bizarre crap, and the equally bizarre fans. I eventually became a huge fan of Diamond, especially "House of God." I'd go if I were on that side of the country.
As a Hardcore/Death/Black/Thrash guy I know I'm not "supposed" to like Slipknot, but I do. I'm always amazed at how much crap they get, but they are super heavy and catchy. And I automatically disliked Disturbed just on principle until I was forced to see them live and was totally blown away by how powerful the singer was. Also into seeing Mastodon and Machinehead. The rest I'm not so sure about. Scott punching himself in the cock all day may be more entertaining though.
