Where did the clear vinyl BB pellets come about? I can remember way before I even knew about kaiju seeing figures filled with them and thought how awesome this idea was. Sorry if its a stupid question. I was just wondering about it.
there are no stupid questions only intentions.. as far as i know the use of clear figures filled with pellets is deeply rooted in candy toys from decades ago. most modern soft vinyl companies have a true love for promotional and character mascots, which seem to come full circle in homage to something vintage or other. when i was a kid i remember getting tons of these type 'toys' at halloween and easter. skullheads with clear bodies filled with tiny sugar goodness, jack-o-lanterns & witches with the same. some reason the easter ones were always creepy beyond the halloween type tho. weird, crazy eyed bunny heads begging you to eat their 'guts' as a 'fun' treat!
