Japanese or American? Let the mods decide.

Released at Summer Wonderfest and soon to be available from Max Toys website is this set of kaiju bromide cards. The art is inspired by Captain Maxx, Kaiju Gameldon, and Kaiju Gumos and features Bob Conge, Ralph Consentino, Steve Forde, Naowki Karasawa, Mark Nagata, Naritada Shintani, and Alex Wald. The cards measure 4 x 6 inches with the art on one side and an artist bio on the other. They come packaged like old school Japanese bromide cards in paper envelopes tied together with a string. There are 15 cards per pack with 11 different and 4 dupes to trade. All the art is just fantastic and the whole thing has old school fun written all over it. I highly recommend these to anyone.

I'm all over these. It will be fun setting up trades with others for the cards you're missing.

But you won't be missing any if you buy a pack. I don't get why these are being set-up like trading cards when everyone who buys a pack will automatically have the entire set...plus some duplicates. :?
