I can imagine the Bemon stumbling across the Zagora and trying to start some shit.

 

Y'know, as I kept playing with these guys outside, I kept imaging the dialog of their meeting going something like,

2HB: "Oh, hey, four arms...pretty sweet. Bet you jerk off twice as quick!"

Zagora: "Ah, very clever...now, why don't you go blow yourself...twice."

...And then they fight!

 

When they said for "Ages 15 and Over" they certainly meant it. Earmuffs, children!

Daniel, I swear like a fucking sailor...it's awful...I sometimes have trouble reigning it in when I'm around my friends kids!

Anyway, the "up-shot" (where you have the camera lens pretty close to the ground so the shot is angled upwards) is kind of a staple of robot toy photography. Anything to make the classic 90-degree, stove-pipe limbs aesthetic look larger than life.

Seems only natural to apply that to vinyl kaiju!

 

I really need to get my toys some outside time. I dig all these pictures!

Ditto - getting my new camera is inspiring more toy shots, for sure. I just got this bad boy last night in a trade took him out first thing this morning before work.

So big, so beefy, I'm in love.

 

i got to go back to one of my favorite places around here and try out a few shots, it just gave me more ideas id like to elaborate on with these guys. i need a mini tripod or something as i shake too much which is slightly evident in the second photo (i tried to touch itup but its crappy). that or go when its brighter so i dont hafto slow the shutter speed and worry about shaking. anyway i had fun with these shots!
