first day of spring! The forest phantom emerges.
That Surnia is goddamn fantastic.
Took the toy that started my Ilu Ilu journey out a couple of days ago. Beautiful, sunny weekend day spent reading in the nearby cemetery.
I couldn't get as spooky with these as I'd like, since the gardeners were in and I didn't want to risk messing up their work. Another day.
The water’s fine, the lagoon is black.
I made an attempt at visualizing the aftermath of the incident in which Frankenstein’s monster throws Maria into the pond, thinking she’d float like the flowers, only to realize he’d accidentally murdered her. Here, it’s more or less realizing what actually happened, and Franky being saddened by his own actions. I still don’t think it translates very well, but feedback I’ve received seems to think otherwise, which I can be happy about!
Slugger Toys Cacao kaiju
Supercalifragilistic expecalidocious Mike!
And Robert, those mini Globby pics are absolutely magical! Pretty please make a toy photo coffee table book, you really need to!
Ahh!!! That bee shot with Gyangos is so great! It’s adorable, but also looks like a face off!
Grace, I’m gettin’ more and more enticed by the idea, and thoughts of what/how to do it are comin’ in more often!
@ungawa222 what a fantastic snap!! Doesn't get much better
Thanks, Kerk!! I got so lucky! Spotted the bee on the zinnia and quickly got into position... held Gyango right by while the bee, who was unperturbed by the proximity of the toy or myself, did its thing for a good 30 seconds. All the while I was snapping away. Bee's butt was to the camera most of that time... then finally, right before he flew off, he turned and looked right at Gyango for a second! Yussss!
