Figured there could be a thread about Kenth. Really digging the Astro Skullbot that, according to Connell, just won a competition at One-Up! http://kenthtoyworks.jimdo.com
Oh! That's very nice. The skull looks great, and the antennae kinda makes it look cute. I'm just not sure about the arms. I don't like it when they take a lot of space. But I'll probably won't mind once I see it in vinyl and painted.
Thanks for starting a Kenth thread James. Kenth is one of the hardest working artists I know and deserves all the exposer he can get. His figure won out over dozens of other artists in the One-Up contest.
It might not be everyone's thing on here, but I still really like his Clockwork Orange inspired Nadsat Boy from the Creature Feature show earlier this year. I actually quite like it in pure milky white vinyl (very suiting too), but Kenth has some pretty amazing painting skills he has demonstrated across various different sculpting platforms.
I'm stoked for the Surfer Kenth is doing himself and the collabo with A Colorful Monster. TAG has a new Kenth toy coming out this spring I think. Hard work and talent pays off sometimes.
. . . . nice to see Nadsat Boy in vinyl. I will have to try and score one. Clockwork Orange is an amazing book
This is from kenth_toy_works (in case you want to follow) Instagram. I love it, cant wait for it. Last time I talked to Yoshi, it is still being prepped and all that jazz. View this post on Instagram
Whoa, thanks for the heads up!! That's looking really sweet! And check out this other sculpt he's working on! View this post on Instagram
Really love that blue on the Astro skullbot I would totally love to own one of these especially unpainted ! Idk my eyes are kind of bad but did he change up the arms on the skullbot from the original sculpt ? Can't really tell from looking at it on my phone. Either way it's cool

I'm so excited to announce the release of the new Space Knight Connell from Kenth Toy Works. I can't believe there is a toy OF me. This has been in the works for a couple of years. I met Kenth through his friend Yoshi who worked for us at TAG before he went back to Japan. I thought it was a joke when he first brought up the idea of doing a toy of me. It has gone through a number of different sculpts over the last few years. I must say I couldn't be more proud of the final toy. Kenth is shooting to have the first release (black blank vinyl) at the upcoming Super Festival. We are planning a big release at DCON with Lulubelltoys in the fall. Stay tuned.
