I collect Kubricks, so maybe this is relevant to some people. It's driving me nuts. I saw this little guy in a vending machine display in NY near the Canadian border. I thought I'd go home and get this toy and any others in the series on eBay, but I can't find anything, anywhere on these Kubrick-like Homies toys. I don't even know if they're authorized Homies (my guess is no.) Has anyone seen these before, or know what they're called, who makes them or where to find them?
Wait, so Kozik is seriously making toys for gumball machines now? If that's the case, I just gained a lot of respect for him. Gumball machine toys that aren't crappy pendants or Yu-Gi-Oh cards rule. Funny Kozik side note: there are now ripoff mini-Beethoven Clockwork Orange busts around. They're little plaster (I think... they were heavy) deals with the eyeliner and "pop" colors (hot pink, metallic, etc). No bowler cap, though. Just very, very wavy hair.
Those gumball toys were made years ago, like 5-6 years ago or maybe more. He also has a few hitler kubrick like toys that were released back in the days.
those are pretty easy to find on ebay or I used to see them @ newbury comics alot....deff not as good as a kubrick or a kubrick bootleg in my opinion. But the hitler one rules
a little off subject, but still kubrick related... i have this gun slinging b&w mickey kubrick, and i love it. is there like a classic kubrick series of b&w disney characters? and as for the los locos, i can just say: meh.
quality on those minis weren't too good, unfortunately. the hitler's seemed to have held up tho. which, btw, i have two of them if anyone's interested... sorry to hijack. carry on
They have done a few here and there, as boxed sets or as part of the regular disney series. Pretty easy to find... Steam boat willy Micky and Oswald link to donald and goofy cause the pic is so big --> http://image07.webshots.com/7/0/59/83/9 ... coZ_fs.jpg
They did make this one as part of their Tokyo Tribes set. Not actually Hitler, but there is a resemblence.
