You need to go directly to de office, in my case they have the package in there office for days, but they can’t explain me why they don’t leve me the paper they use to tell you when you aren’t in home that you must to pick up your package in the post office.
I didn't know where else to bring this, since it's Shirahama made, but there's no central Shirahama Toy thread. But these towers he brought to DCon are so great. Perfect omake to match just about any standard 9" figure, kaiju or otherwise. This is a cool standalone single pull that would look great in large numbers!
Okay, not Kumon related, but all the same, I CANNOT contain my excitement. MATANGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, the sculpting on this guy is amazing. HT did such a great job, and I think the new figure does a wonderful job of fitting in with other existing versions, while also being unique. It is a stunner, and I am impressed. I will never tire of mushrooms. Dennis did a wonderful job executing these guys, and I am really excited to see what colours and vinyl combinations might be in the pipeline for this new figure. The local-only license is of course a little crushing, but very expected with Toho (why, I still cannot figure out) based on other releases. Even if I never manage to grab one of these or hold one in my hands, I am still super happy for Dennis for realising this long-time dream.
If there's a reason to avoid posting the image, my apologies, but in case anyone wants to see it without poking around, here:
Thank you my friend, I am glad that you liked the picture, since that kumon arrived I related it to a dessert or something sweet.
Is anybody still waiting on their Neapolitan Kumon? I saw a post a couple of weeks back saying they were all sent out but no sign of anything here..
They really do capture the spirit of Halloween, hope Dennis releases more Halloween themed Kumon someday soon cause I really missed out one some amazing pieces!
@xSuicide Squadx - Excellent photos, Robert. Those Halloween splatters are goretastic. Who else is looking forward to the Persimmon Kumon? The colorway is based on the vintage Marusan Baragon. View this post on Instagram View this post on Instagram
@xSuicide Squadx Robert, those examples are incredible! Such beautiful work. @deafmetal I know I am super amped for this release once it starts trickling out. I know it is more of a 'traditional' vibe for Dennis and the Kumon platform than I think most of the Kumon collectors are into, but personally I find this to be the best version I have seen yet, I could care less about exclusivity, run numbers, etc. It is all about appreciating the toy. Like the '66 Goji colourway (which is tied in top position, but seems I will have to only appreciate in photos PS - hit me up!) the homage is perfect, and tickles me in all of the right spots. I think the Persimmon is going to wow people even more in person, and the photos are already gorgeous.
@gatiio I’ve always been a sucker for Halloween toys, themed or colored as such, and Dennis did somethin’ pretty out of the box with this pairing. Easily two of the best in his entire resume! @deafmetal @ultrakaiju Thanks so much, gentleman! It’s been wonderful getting a grip on new editing and learning! Very happy to have experimented on this particular trio! As far as the Persimmon Kumon, I’m happily anxious to see this one in hand. The vibrancy of those Baragreen sprays on the face is fantastical! I have a few Kumon that are more traditionally broad sprayed, and it’s fun to see Dennis translate his love and passion for vintage on a modern toy to make it an instant classic.
Green and Orange are my favorite toy colors, particularly in combination. So it goes without saying that I'm very eagerly awaiting my persimmon Kumon.
I’m with Luke here, I’m really digging the colors with this release, also it’s top tier paint application from Dennis. I don’t think there is a painted Kumon release I don’t want! Lol. Also this will be my first Kumon from the man himself so it’s especially exciting because of that.
