Lamb of God "Wrath" sorta review

So I've been listening to this for a good week now and I can honestly say this is one solid album. While I do like their older albums...Wrath is a true evolution of their sound.

Sacrament was solid although I always felt that the album was a bit of a joke at times. "Walk with me in hell" has you thinking the album would be a gritty rock album, but then subsequent tracks were not that cohesive.

Wrath, though, starts off strong and keeps the dark, gritty energy pulsing through the whole album. The structure of the songs are also more complex - there's more play between the guitars and drums with a bit of a battle between the vocals and drums. Nice. There are also many songs that have tempo changes and some brutal breaks that are short and sweet - hopefully drawn out during a live set!

You can check out the first video for "Set to Fail" here.

They're touring this April with one of my favorites, As I Lay Dying :D along with Children of Bodom, God Forbid and Municipal Waste. That will be one brutal show!
