We get it Scott. Please stop taking the piss out of GR. I am working on a 2nd LA location that can handle the events and craziness of the common Kaiju collector. It is a lot to take on.
So, for the hard of understanding (i.e. me) - there will be no items coming up in the webstore, they will all be available via the top 5 email method only? Or, will there also be items available at 11am in the webstore as well?
We are doing this all through email. We only have one of most of these items so adding them to the store would be a little too laborious.
OK, got it! I prefer that idea actually - very interested to see what items will be up on Saturday AM! Will any of teh distro stores be doing their rare items in their web stores, or will it all be for foot traffic?
at what time will the items on the list be posted to choose from for the top five and so forth...? sometime on sat. before 11am or fri night possibly...?
2 questions.. firstly this is SF time? so 4 in the morning in Japan. Also any idea on price range on the RXH stuff? I'm guessing these wont be sold at retail, but are we looking at high prices? Just wondering if someone on my budget should be setting there alarm or getting a good nights kip.
Just so everybody knows, I'll find out sometime tomorrow about how the TT lottery will be done (I.E. how long entries are being accepted), and post it here (if that's ok, Glenn?)...I'd say show up at 1 p.m. if you want to get stuff that's for sale new or old (though TT won't have mountains like SB)... We're probably leaving the lottery open for at least a few hours so more people can get a chance at das amarillo. and I can't enter the TT lottery...so I'm gonna try the online lottery like everybody else...
ARGH!!! I start a 90 min client on the dot at 11am saturday. I am so screwed If, IF I start my client a bit late will the pics ALL go up exactly at 11am or will the process be a bit slow and stagered which if is the case I should just give up now and not be worried about it (more for the rest of you).
hahah so many questions from people I figured that this will be PST, which works since KT is also dropping stuff on the 17th (or 16th for us in the states), so my bank account will be groaning! C'mon tax return, c'mon!!! Anyway, the one question I have is that the stuff that's going to be for sale won't be any of the mini RxH figs we saw posted as "coming soon" a few days ago will they? The mini-chaos and mini-evil? Thanks!
can i be annoying and ask for the "teaser" group pic to be posted in this thread (maybe they can all be posted/added on the first page as others become available)? there are 3 or 4 threads on the lottery now and this one seems like the best place for images to be.
OK...here's the scoop on how ToyTokyo will be doing everything tomorrow: Doors open at 1 p.m. Everything is for sale starting at 1 p.m. EXCEPT the Yellow Chaos AND the new Bigaro. TT will only have 2 of the new Bigaro, so there will be a chance lottery for buying this piece. You will pick a number out of a box, and if your number matches the one on a Bigaro, you can buy it... Everything else, including all the new RxH store pieces, rare RxH pieces, and S7 pieces will be for sale first come first served. TT will start accepting lottery entries for both the Yellow Chaos at 1 p.m., and stop accepting entries at 3 p.m. You DO NOT have to present to win the Yellow Chaos, but it would be preferred. TT will take contact information, and do the drawing as soon as possible after 3 p.m. Again, everything for sale starts at 1 p.m., so if you want something for sale come at 1 or as close as you can, pick a number for the Bigaro if you want it, enter into the lottery and do some shopping around the area (St. Mark's Place has some good music/movie stores, and there's a great bookstore nearby as well.)
