Cool show and congrats to LiLJAPAN, gatchabert, LASH, Toybot, PK and Lamour. The customs and 2D's were fantastic. Great seeing the usual faces and some new ones. Here's some coverage: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34295608@N ... 048687995/ LiLJAPAN gatchabert LASH ToyBot PK Lamour
Oh snap . . . the 3 month sabbatical for your ninja training at the Buddhist monastery in Tibet is over already?
Yeah it was nice to meet you Zinc. Super stoked on the show. so much great stuff. Cant wait to take home my Sludge
All my favorite people in one show with pics by my favorite Kaiju Chronicler. Really great job guys. Miss you all tremendously!
So, Joe, who is Chinese if I'm not mistaken, decided to become a Ninja, but instead of doing it in Japan where there are plenty of Buddhist monasteries already (not training Ninjas neither), he went to Tibet and bother the nice people there instead, huh? Wisely avoiding the Shao Lin monastery, nowhere near Tibet, since they could only teach him Kung Fu to begin with. I can imagine Joe wondering around Lhasa, looking for the Dalai Lama to teach him a few choice moves and sell him some Ninja stars.. The person contorting himself in that picture, btw, is LilJAPAN. Not Joe.
The toybot Zags kind of rule the top!! The custom BC is nothing shy of epic, Bert always kills it, and an interesting marbled effect by MVH on the Ollie! Congrats, doods.
I don't think I've ever heard that expression before in my life. "Brought the pressure?" The zagoran was pretty cool and I think was from the 2008 contest. I remember it because I loved the fade job.
Great fun was had by all and sorry to have missed a few that were unable to make it. Enjoy: http://s64.photobucket.com/albums/h169/ ... %20101610/
not sure when stuff is going online but you can always email them: info@lowerhater.com I think Joel's stuff is selling for $150 each.
Here's the price listing for the everything that was available at the show. Crossed out items are ones that I know that sold.
Congrats on the Ollie Jeff. This show really flew under the radar for me but I hope the pics did it justice!
I emailed them and picked up this drawing. So rad and probably the closes i'll ever get to owning a nag.
I actually thought that 'lower hater' was just a play on words for customs. I didn't know it was a store. Anyway...after looking at their store...it looks like they have really cool tshirts and products but their website is terrible. Hopefully they will get it fixed.
I came back and looked at these photos again, and I must say, with these Zags Bert and Kirkland have captured the closest thing to authentic Gargamel gang quality paint-jobs. Nice work, guys.
