I took a magical trip last weekend, deep into tranquil Laurel Canyon; 8763 Wonderland to be precise, where back on July 1st of 1981 the sleeping inhabitants of this address met up with the business end of sawed-off lead pipes at 4 a.m. The beatings were so severe that none of their faces were recognizable. Drugs, Robbery, Revenge, Murder, Mayhem and John Holmes…… all came together (no pun intended) for a wonderful Saturday drive.
