Trade + BBQ.... Nice! Sounds good man. Though right now Im trying to set up a show for all my dogs. But Im always down for trades, it just might be a little down the road(Or I could make you a new one ) I'll try and post a better shot later. This black clay is amazing. -m
Both came out really nicely. Would love to see these in person. Feel free to send one over to my house. I will cover shipping.
those dogs are so cool! i would love to have some of these..and the pumpkin head one on the blog is nice also..you should make some resins
As much as I love Matango, I think I like the Obake one more. Great job as always!! That clay you are using looks amazing.
Couple new photos Yah after this guy was finished I was real crazy about it... its my fav as well. Now that I hear docross I want to make it... I love Docross. A docross head would be sick. Im not making anything new now though just finishing up what I have. When I return home maybe I'll try a docross then. Black clay... Being its black it always shows through the glaze. So you get these wicked frosted looked. For example the color in my avatar... its about the same color glaze thats on the matango. Black clay totally changes it. Thanks again for all the words. I'll post some more pics when I get some others finished up -m
ooh...eer.. nice nice finish on 'em. I just unwrapped a green and gold vinyl paradise matango and put him on the shelf under a light... so I am totally feeling that matango dog but the other is way cool. I know you made em in Japan but are you taking them home with you or selling them there?
WOW these turned out sweet! I rember seeing the earlier shots, but with the glaze these are really impressive
Thanks! Yah taking them all home. Not selling anything here, gonna try and set up a show for everything once I get back. Though I may have to start selling them soon, as this trip has exhausted my cash. Im Broke! I just found a brown Marmit Matango and an unpainted yellow m1 matango at the Nagoya Mandarake. Only about $10 each!! Score!! And I wasnt even gonna go since I have no cash but thought I should check it anyways on the chance there was a matango. Stoked!
Basically finished with everything now. Still have a wood firing next Wednesday which I'll have a couple dogs in as well. Totally experimental though, no idea if they will come out in one piece. Heres a couple pics All the pics on my blog http://mairuzunirusen.blogspot.com/
wow, Miles! these are truly amazing. I love the maoi, jack-o-latern and the tiger striped one. Who is the dude with the blond hair? It would be cool to do beavis and buttheads on the dog bodies. you keep raising the bar - fantastic!
