these two are probably not the most popular of the mecha machine line ( that would be mecha godzilla ) but they are great toys in there own right . both of these are missle fire as are all in the mecha machine line . the goofyness of rockbat is what appeals to me about this toy and the robot design of blazer is awsome . rockbat is mostly made of vinyl and plastic while the blazer is a thin plastic that if you droped it from a table height it just might explode .very intricate toys for thier time .
wow, that's stinking awesome! Does the top part of Rockbat's head shoot off or come off? How would one, such as I, start to look up more info on these and others in this series?
I've never been a huge fan of Rockbat, but this toy is definitely funktified. That Blazer, however, drives me wild! Something about a toy with as simple a gimmick as firing missiles that's just killer. Are those days truly gone? Will we never see missile firing vinyls again?
I LOVE the Rockbat! That is my favorite version of that character. The shot of Warren's in SUPER #1 with the white backdrop sold me on it. Been looking for one for quite sometime. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for yours? Also, could you post pics of the box.
wow, I didn't know that Rockbat was a TV show - Boken Rockbat! can't seem to find too much info on it outside of what was on ToyboxDX: and also found this:
here are the back of the boxes . looks like the top of the head does fire off . think i paid about $140 on e bay for the rockbat and about $225 for the blazer on yahoo . i think the enemy robot "dank " was made but only in diecast . thanks ccpfan for adding some much needed extra info . for you sanjeev i think i will start a missle fire thread .
