alright, it looks like no one else has put their name in for about a day or so now, so I'm gonna call it closed

everyone can start working on their mixes and I'll draw names and let you know who you have shortly

 

yeee haw! i WILL be putting a britney song on my mix as the "hidden bonus track"...BOOM!

 

also...are we burning standard audio cd mixes (aiff files) or mp3 mixes (mp3's...duh)?

 

I personally was gonna do a standard mix. I still listen to CDs in my car since I haven't gotten a stereo I can use with my Ipod yet (like I had in the old car).

but it's up to you I guess

 

i think we should do straight up cds. that way i can listen in my car. thats pretty much the only way i listen to shit right now. i need to fire my ipod back up.

vitek, the drummer of decapitated died yesterday from head injuries he sustained when the tour van crashed in russia on monday. my mix will definitely contain some decapitated because they are/were crushing.

All my 80's metal stuff is on vinyl in the UK, so is some Klassik Kutz (BOC, Sabbath, Motorhead etc....) along with some new stuff (Pelican, Sword, 65 days of Static) ok?

I just finished mine. I'm not gonna have time all week to do it so I got it done.

Since I don't know who it's going to, or their tastes in metal, I tried mixing it up a bit. Hopefully they'll dig at least ONE song. I just tried having fun with it.

 

Um, they don't really sound like 'black metal'. More like quite badly recorded NWOBHM.

I just didn't want to say like a month and then have everyone forget about it, but if a week isn't long enough we can always make it a little longer.

you know, I also realized that I'm going to need your addresses to give them to whoever gets your name in the drawing, so PM them to me

missy helped me with the drawing (so it was totally impartial and fair). as soon as I get the addresses I'll starting sending out the info via PM.
