Finished this little guy up yesterday. Obviously, with the one eye, Zag's a cyclops. With this in mind, I tried to play up the "Cyclopean" texture on the body. I added some spots to throw in some color, give him a little personality, and break up the blue rocky areas. As always, hope you guys like it and thanks for looking.
I agree. The continuation of the "eyes" as a design aesthetic is pretty brilliant. I would add the question that how DO you have such steady hands in that cold subterranean "studio"? Fingerless gloves???
I like the colors and the eye motif on this guy alot... really sweet job. I also really like the drybrushing to bring out the scale details... makes me feel better about finishing the mini Zag I'm working on with drybrushing
Sure thing, Joe! There are some heavy hitters in that case and I'm honored to have one of my customs displayed with them. It's nice to know that little guy has found such a great home.
