I can't believe we still haven't seen a jet jaguar. I'm sure it'll happen at some point but still.

 

There is a micro, but that's it. Toho needs more love from the Butaverse.

Stevie, I agree and hope that Mr. O creates an Ultra 7 reissue. I also think that reissues should be slightly different than the original release--i.e. the Buta blue Kanegon, original vs. reissue looks identical! And for OCD geeks like me, it's a little exasperating, not knowing which one I have! Still hoping that Mr. O will create a Zunou Spectreman "bell pepper", that would be dreamy!

 

Personally I would love to see "full size" Buta renderings of Alien Varduck and Gorbagos. That would be a very nice. A very nice indeed.

 

Varduck is such a weird and cute figure, I would LOVE to see Mr. O's interpretation! Great ideas Michael

 

I recently saw a painted micro Varduck by OMB, that really reinforced the need for that one to be full Buta size.

 

Wonderful! One can only hope! And it would be nice to have a metallic spray on the noggin, just like the Bullmark one. Come to think of it, I don't think any Butas have a metallic spray, do they?

 

there are a few I can think of. enmago set. red king joe, blue seabozu, some g series micros, and actually while youre talking about it, oodako has silver. im sure there are some more.

 

Well if you count silver and gold there are a few but not too many, you are right Grace. Some of the 62 gojis have some nice gold accents on the back, and the pink Oodako has a nice subtle silvery sheen as well. The red Eleking has true blue metallics that me likey. I love metallics personally.

^^the recent four armed winged Cyclops guy (name escapes me) also has some very nice green metallic on it.

 

Yeah! Just looking at the trusty database...Alien Rayblood is full frontal metallic. Scha-wing!

And how could we forget the red and green Baltans. Great metallics on both.

 

Ha! Thanks guys! I will check the Gojis, Oodako, Red Baltan, and Bakular/Bakura (termite = cyclops ). I don't have the Alien Rayblood. I'm all for a Varduck in the future, as well as a Kamerking

I just check my small Buta collection and pink Ikarus, pink Jamira, pink Gyango and Bakura have some metallic sprays.

^^^Whoa! First $59800 Ultra Seven and now $29200 JPY's Kong! It sure is getting crazy and competitive out there! I suppose it might be a mixture of MIB and an older version, but sheesh! Thanks for sharing the final results on that Kong @poysntixels , I forgot to save the link (I was curious about the outcome myself! ). If no one objects, I also think this is probably the closest/most appropriate thread to post "rare and outrageous" buta auctions

@organic_addict was kind enough to send a kittee sitter to Mr. Humphreys (oh so long ago), to keep him company, when he was still alive. Mr. Humphreys got along with Mr. Kong very well, and did not chew him...

and thankfully the kittee sitter was not $29200 JPY

 

Lovely pic, great toy and the cat is a bittersweet reminder of our Elliot who is now peeing on carpets in Heaven. Ha. Our current two kitties are not allowed near the toys as they would have no problem converting them into well chewed floor hockey pucks. They're just like that. Me, I was in it for a while because it's def on my posted wants and I love it. But at that price, it's more like; "It isn't you. It's me."
