Will post pics, not to rub it in, but for an obviously better view of this gal.....I suspect that one pic we have does not do it justice. I'm thinking the run was 25-30, if I had to wager a guess.

I am living in Asia so no. And when I read the Japanese translation on the page, it looked like a different time for locals as opposed to International orders so I was hoping maybe more units were produced... (I just checked the info in Japanese, so it was just the payment date and not order date ) People can check my want list to see what I want.

Its unfortunate people feel the need to cook the toy market's prices to such an insane level with staggering BINs. This sculpt is now likely ungettable by anyone who doesn't feel like paying clearly manipulated prices. A fool is born every minute or that's an agent of the manufacturer cooking the market. I'll check the link when I get home to see who got it. I'd guess Majolca or an SBer with no regard for money or what this does to the market for everyone else... I'd prefer a one off to this, its just not a $1000 + piece imo but whatever.
Has got to be a one-off transaction. I guess across the board we're pretty level headed. Don't try this at home kids...unless you struck the lottery (State lottery, that is.)

ridiculous. when I see prices like this, it just strengthens my resolve to only pay retail or below... I'm waiting this out until I can get one, one that I actually want, for a reasonable price, trade or retail sale...

In the office atm and my home comp is semi fried. If I can get it running again pre reformat I'll link it. If I was sitting on a million USD all disposable I'd still not be able to justify $1000 (not including fees) on that thing. There are one offs and HPs I'd think are worth $1000 but not the Garimpo.
I certainly don't have a G to spend on any toy and I agree that this is a crazy price...But I have to say to people outraged by high prices, and this is nothing personal, "welcome to my world". I honestly can't afford $250 for a toy much less $1000. High prices have always been around for some of us. It is all relative... But I'm sure they will keep producing these and with a little luck everyone will get a chance at one sooner or later. I'll keep my fingers crossed for everyone. It really is an amazing piece.
