    Very cool toy and photos.

What other colorways have there been of this sculpt? The only other I have seen is the one from BloodDrinker6969's photo here...

I want one badly! And the pink guy in the back is awesome, too!

    Someday...

    Thanks for the link!

Though I like those colors, I don't really dig the drill arms too much. The yellow-green one in the photo I linked to is still my fave.

I am not generally too fond of Anraku Ansaku products, but I must say I wouldn't mind owning this one !

    Great pics.

The yellow-green one is the same one shown in the third and fourth photos in the link I gave you... Maybe that's what you meant.

My favorite is the drill arms.

Yeah, that one. Ugh I type like an idiot today

Same here! A lot of Anraku stuff tends to bore me but this sculpt just looks awesome. If I'm ever lucky enough to own a single Anraku Ansaku piece, this is among my top picks! This, and the pink guy from BD's photo. The name is Venus Guerilla, right?

Whoa...I received the regular version and after comparing the two via Geo's pics, I can't imagine he would make a new mold for that...he had to of just cut the tail off and shoved the drill arm up...
I have to say...Anraku is in a sadistic period here...

Geo that looks like a light box shot, was this in natural light ?

Not natural. Not in a box, but I used a setup involving 5 wireless flash units. Two in front, two at the sides, and one from the top.

 5 point lighting for a toy shoot---wow!

Do you have a mini studio inside your house? Maybe you can post pics of your photo set up, it would be interesting to see.

I don't have a studio or anything set up. The Cadmium shot was done on my desk at my home office. I stood the figure on one of those curved "infinity" boards, placed the flashes around the figure, and held one flash over the figure to illuminate the top of its head.

I like to shoot outside, weather permitting. There was a thunderstorm going on at the time. :)

Obligatory "I have to go take the baby out but got this guy in so here's a crappy sideways photo w/skullbrain on the computer in the back" shot!

Mine came with a drill-dong, it's a boy!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to have him get some air. Figured I'd show off the 3rd version, WITH wiener. So we have drill-tail, drill-wiener and no-drill at all. I think that covers it.

Yes, please take some shots from the bottom so we can see how the equipment is attached.

Same as yours, just with the arms/head/legs spun around.

Ok, thanks. Looking forward to your pics. The black and blue "dot" pattern seems just slightly different, as you would expect from a handpaint...

When I check your pics to mine it seems the paint job with the dots are like this: The pattern on the front of yours is the same as on the "front" of mine (but the front of mine is the back of yours, get it?) So it seems that instead of just painting all the bodies to 1 pattern, he actually made the "front" and "back" patterns match, if that crazy kind of jibber-jabber makes sense? I'll get some pics some time tomorrow to show what I mean.

Yeah, I understand what you mean...

If he did do what you suggest, that's cool because that's why I asked it to be assembled bass akwards before he painted it.

So there are in fact, three versions, drill-dick and no-drill. And some who requested a drill-tail instead of a drill-dick.
    Finally, some clarification.

Yeah, I was confused for a bit too. Glad I went Drill-Dick. The drill in back, though not so lewd, would stick out and hit the wall and not be so visible and overall make displaying a pain. The drill in front, however, works for my set up a lot better and satisfies my 10 year old sense of humor. I also find it weirder, which adds bonus points.

I wonder what happened to all of the tail stubs that got cut for the drills? Assuming they were cut vs. new mold, seems that way to me.
