Here are the first pics released of my new fig! You saw it first on skullbrain It's resin. It's articulated! Three points. Arms (2) and tail (not shown). I'm pretty stoked at getting the articulation working in resin. Yep there are still some molding issues I'm working out this is the first full proto. cast. I'm not totally happy with the name I've got. So if someone can suggest one I like I'll make it worth your while
stumpy roots bark yeah, it reminds me of a tree stump call him STUMP, stomps retarded cousin. kinda like when ren's cousin sven came to visit.
If I wanted to get dissed I would have posted this on skullbrain - wait a minute... I actually quite like the tree association. It wasn't my intention but I see where you're coming from. Stump hmm. I might leave out your byline HMS. Keep 'em coming
Sure kinda. Thanks for asking. It's based on some of my drawings. A lot of my characters tend to be wearing big ass parkas, I have no idea why. So he is wearing a parka. The texture is supposed to be furish. he has clawed hands and taloned feet so he's not human. His parka has a third eye which makes it psychic. Maybe I should call it Psychic Parka. But I dunno if you US folks use the term "parka". Psychic Coat just doesn't have the right ring to it. Also it reminds me a bit of a cute Owlbear, a creature that is part owl mostly bear - funnily enough. Any more thoughts on a name?
Sloths creep me out. I mean...LOOK at 'em! I heard after a life of doing a whole lot of nothing, that when they die, they hang from the tree--like business as usual. Then they fall to the ground after some decomposing. Can you imagine? Sloths suck shit--say that three times fast. Beavers also creep me out--the ones in the forest, I mean. name him Sleaver.
here's some naming possibilities: shermantha kedamonokee (or kedamonoki) i like this as "kedamono" is kanji for "beast". although I was taught in a Japanese film course that it was "a beast covered in hair"- so combining that word with monkey might be good and catchy for the fig. kedamonoki is a good name for this. blumposky shanks fermentator bob lazyeye lopez
I've actually been thinking about this. "Sandome" There is a reason for this name. "Sandome" means 'third time' in Japanese, which I guess is appropriate given that this would be your third production sculpt (that I've seen). Also, I notice that the guy has three toes, three fingers and three eyes. "Me" is also the character for 'eye', although not really as it's used in this context. I like this one, though. I think your figures translate your art into a 3D medium well. Congrats on the new creation.
