Hey all, Was wondering if anybody is willing to share their BST experience with a fellow SBer. His name is Jared aka Six7777. I'm finalizing a deal with him and would appreciate the good (or not so good) word on the fella. This is the first time I've dealt with him and would like to do this by the book so to speak. No offence to you Jared, I'm sure you'll have some guys vouching for ya.
The real wow here is you bothering with the useless wow comment. I mean what the fuck got your panty in a twist THIS time?
It's OK I have popcorn left over from the Narwhale thread . . . apparently first post noobs chasing the hottest new releases is OK these days so I didn't eat it all . . .
Folks, if you have no feedback to contribute to Robert regarding transactions with Six7777, then there's no need to reply. Thank you.
Well that's one way to get folks to respond to a thread. Seriously tho put away the popcorn. I'm waiting for more of his nonsense but whatever he says I'm not even going to bother replying and just put him on my ignore list. I think he's starving for attention and this is the only way he gets it. I'm done feeding trolls.
Thanks Roger. I'm sure we can look forward to peoples requests for feed back on individuals flooding in like KR. There are ways to deal with this kind of thing behind the scenes, but I guess just randomly posting about it is the easiest. Good luck on the transaction.
The way I would have handled it is to ask the Fresh Meat (in PM-Land) for a couple references from the board. If he/she/it has none, then work it out where he/she/it trades first or what not. I wouldn't make it all public and such, but that's me...
Well maybe you can share constructive solutions with us how a situation like this can be dealt with "behind the scenes." If I am considering a transaction with Collector X, and I want to know if others have had good experiences with him/her, how can I accomplish this without making a post asking, "Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with Collector X?"
Unfortunately this idea is flawed. The seller will only provide references that he thinks will provide a positive result.
Really though. I don't know how else to word it but my take is Six7777 is a good Joe (or Jared in this case). That's what my guts tell me. I'm just inquiring what others have experienced. I've had a dozen folks already giving pos stories about him via pm (thank you all). Leave it to the resident grump to yet again put a negative spin on an otherwise simple inquiry.
The name sounds familiar. I think I've dealt with b4 and I've never had a bad experience here so yah...you should be alright...for whatever that is worth...
Upon first read I saw "...giving pos stories..." and thought "piece of shit". That didn't sit right in my head and on second look I'm assuming it's shorthand for "positive".
As long as his last name aint Baggin! search.php?keywords=Jared+Baggin&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search
Ahah! OMG that didn't come out right did it?! Again the original post was not meant as anything negative towards Jared. If this was the other way around I would totally have no problem with somebody asking about me. EDIT: I'm just adding that this transaction is on it's way. Thank you to all that PMed. Thank you Roger for keeping the peace. This was for an old Grail of mine and I'm excited to have found it. Finally a big thanks to Six7777 for the awesome hook up!
great to see deal works out!!! besides asking publicly about reputation of boardmembers seems kind of strange to me as well, some things should be kept private i think. curious did jared give his ok beforehand?
