I'm hearing bad reviews actually.
But still excited to check this film out.

 

Well tis the problem with reviewers. I take them all very lightly, VERY. If im set to see something i will see it despite what other say. I guess i should say some of the comments made were suprising considering most reviewers cant get off the "this isnt pulp fiction" wagon which is beat to death.

 

From what I've read and seen it's more on the "Jackie Brown" and "Death Proof" level. Lots of drawn out dialogue and some uneven pacing. Not necessarily bad but not on the level of Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill which were great and a lot of fun to watch.

I'm excited to see it but have reservations especially with Mike Myers in it. Yeah I know he can act but still.

 

See I read several that said it was a great departure from the Death Proof level. Even referred to as "a hybrid pulp fiction wwII fantasy film". Even in good reviews though I did still read that Myers role was still too austin powers-ish.

 

Agreed but QT really has the ability to pull a actor out of the garbage and really polish him off.

 

I loved Jackie Brown, so I am looking forward to this even more.

 

So excited for this movie! Just hoping he doesn't add some of that boring long dialogue that plagued "Death Proof".

 

His dialogue is one of the reasons why I like his movies. If you want senseless action you can see that x-men movie ??

I don't mind most his dialogue. He comes up with a bunch of great lines to quote but I'm talking about "Death Proof" in particular. The diner scenes. Soooo bad.

I loved it as well. I would say it's my favorite Tarantino movie.

This one looks great as well. Can't wait!

 

I haven't been too excited about Tarantino in a while...but this looks very, very promising.

it's surprising how little footage has surfaced from this so far.

Jackie Brown is waaaay underrated.

 

I was more excited to see Angelina Jolie look hot again--in the Cannes pictures. Geezus, her legs go for miles, and she's had a kid and a set of twins. Whhhhoooooeeeee. Oh the movie looks good to.

I like Pitt as an actor, I'm on and off w/QT but always give him an honest shot, and I'm a sucker for some Nazi bashing, so I'm excited just a bit.
