This is an all-new sculpt for CCP, isn't it? Hey, CCPfan, if you have some pull with 'em, can you please ask them politely to make some gids of these???
I think this also might be a tie-in with the Kubrick / Mini Hedorah / Kekio Mari CD set that Tower put out
What would (and possibly could) also be nifty is a Gojira companion piece with a shot of Hedorah in his eyes. Uh, albeit small...
The closeups of the eyes look almost like Gojira is a holographic image. This one may prove irresistible to me.
i really like the ccp smokestack huffuing version of hedorah, but this one looks like it might be too much of a shelf hog for me. does anybody know what the arm span-width is? godzilla in the pupil is a cool effect though, so i may have to track this one down.
I'll measure the ones I have at the haus. My guess is that the arms are the same as the larger Hedorah sculpts, just pulled outward - might have a 14-16" span, though.
i cant stop coming back to this thread. im in aww of this guy. the bigger the better for me.......except the price if probably crazy. this would be a good piece to go on top of the detolf since he is massive.
it's a Tower JP exclusive. I think they won't offer this much longer so outside of ordering through them then the other option would probably be an auction site. Naturally, TJP won't ship outside of Japan
Her Blog a tune She did two songs for the movie Godzilla vs Hedorah (1971) and was also the character Fujiyama Miki in the flick. Her name is actually Gara Takatori, but goes by Keiko Mari for her music / movies. She's also appeared in other henshin / tokusatasu shows and has done a few voice-overs
Hah, "Save the Earth" was the translated chorus lyric of the opening song for the English-language dubbed version shown on TV here in the USA in the 1970s, although the current translation is something more like "Return, return!" (to a green Earth) on the most recent DVD edition, if I remember correctly. The words "save the Earth" no longer appear at all. Pardon my trivia moment.
