They look like Target brand soda, right next to the "choxie" brand chocolate... And someone on a design website pointed out that the new 20oz bottle looks like a penis with foreskin... eww. Company's strive for brand recognition, they live or die by it, why does pepsi think this is a good idea? phil
I'm pretty sure the new logo is supposed to be 'smiling' at us? pretty weak. Its too cutesy, IMHO. I'm not a fan of cola, but seems like they could have done much better. and that font..b-o-r-i-n-g
Yeah, I read about this too. The new one looks sort of retro-60's to me. The font & the non-symmetrical logo. It's better than that NFL style garbage they've been using for years. Fuck Pepsi though, I still hate the taste of that shit.
I kind of like it. It seems like the only font used these days is Helvetica. I like to see different fonts being used. and I like the redesign of the wave. I think it's deffinitely more interesting.
thanks.... actually it looks like the blue is peeled away from the red. and for that budget usually turns out crap because of so many opinions/time....loses it's edge.
Looks kinda like House Industries Chalet Paris 70's font. No slant on the e and the s is rounder. Strange new logo! I dig the old style soda logos anyway.
