I received a gift package from a friend in Japan and I thought you all might like to see some more detailed shots of this guy from Super Festival: Enjoy!
The MH is amazing, bubbles, colors, free sprays, it has it all. The Chaos is cool too but I can only afford 1 and I have plenty of rub Chaos' already.
Wow! I'm impressed that the new Head and Chaos sold out... they are fantastic looking though, but I'm trying to resist them. The new Adult Head is delivering on almost exactly the colors I wanted to see, and I just can't swing it right now.
I cant tell for sure, but that new Chaos looks very similar to the OG 3rd Orange Chaos. Maybe its the pics, but is this one of those tribute re-releases? New head is awesome - a NEW OG
I think that it is, seems to be anyway. Like a rub-version. Maybe the vinyl is pearl too since there's that unpainted pearl orange Chaos out there.
That would be cool...! but I thought the orange vinyl of the upainted orange pearl chaos looked more like the stuff of the orange Kabuki Evil. kind of a "hot" orange. the pics haven't been too good I guess.
The new MH is bad ass I just wish the eyes weren't black. They are too dark for this figure. Just my opinion
Looks similar enough for me to be able to pass on . . . I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder . . . I'm actually hoping for some new mini Chaos more than the full size dudes!
Well, at least for the haters, the rub on the orange will make it easy to spot. I'm sorta not sure where I want to go with my RxH fight figures at this point... I have a whole bunch now, and there's only a couple others that I'd be willing to put the legwork into tracking down (glitter Gatchi, blue convention Gatchi). I'm stoked to see more Adult guys and the Glyos/Onell stuff, but I think I'm mostly good on the fight figures. That said, that purple Chaos looks great... I'm doomed.
This is a great thread. RxH is amazing and even though old time collectors have considerably slowed down they still buy selected pieces. What I have gleaned from reading about its creator Mori K. is extremely interesting. His ability to morph ancient folklore into these neo kaiju motiffs are quite classy. As a new collector I have 28 of Mori's sculps.
