i dont think they had anything to do with one another i am pretty sure tiger mask came first, it was a cartoon/comic in the 60s. he was a human wrestler in a mask. tiger7 was a live action show... i think he was a human that transformed into the tiger headed, motorcycle riding hero
tiger mask (1969) was based on a manga of the same name. iron man tiger 7 is a show from 1973. ... he was a man with an artifical heart who could transform into a super warrior (tiger 7) with the help an ancient tiger faced necklace that his dad gave him.
super7 issue #9 has the real deal on tiger7. theres this like, ancient empire of monster jerks that wants to like, rule the world. earth's only hope is a dude with a lightning bolt body sock, some super-kick-ass glove, and a tiger head for a head. fuck yeah.
