Does anyone know what was up with all the odd damnedrons on E-bay? Each claims to be produced by RM, and part of an edition. I don't remember any of these.
First time I'm seeing these as well. Actually, the first one just looks like the unpainted clear Max Toy version just with a bunch of the tanks from the other eater releases.
not 100% sure but they were on the bay for the phillips auction....they might have been made just for that.?
From the auction catalog... Orange: BATTLE IN THE SETTING SUN / PHARAOHS V. DAMNEDRON Produced by Rumble Monsters Co., 2008 White: BATTLE UNDER MOONLIGHT / PHARAON V. DAMNEDRON Produced by Rumble Monsters Co., 2008 Clear: THE EATER MONSTER / DAMNEDRON Produced by Rumble Monsters Co., 2008
seriously wish I could have afforded one of these beauties cause' I totally dig the clear one and the white one...!!! never have been a big fan of the pharaohs but love the dams...!!!
wish i had seen those up for auction went for sorta cheap. anyone know if Rumble Monsters dude painted these?
yes. i also tacked on inflation, sales tax and the strength of the yen. still cheap for a toy i like and have never seen (although if they were not painted by RJB or rumble monsters dude, i'm not interested)

The Martin Ontiveros custom went for $1100. That does not include the premium. I doubt I could ever afford anything from Phillips. Who is buying these?
Yeah, I saw those Phillips auctions items--most of them were special one-offs (I know I saw a Le Merde piece as well), but my lord they all sell for so much! I wonder who the collectors are that can afford some of these? Yikes!
The fine art types? Isn't it fun to see one-offs from your favorite artists that you can never ever afford?
