The regular hedo looks cool too, hopefully someone will post a pic. The mini smogun just reminded me how cool these guys really are. I might get rid of a couple items from this set, but its still early. Post what you guys got!
i didnt think about that until you said it. Just checked and they are glow! Awesome!! the fight character also glows!
ToyTokyo has not sold their bags yet...so there's still hope for those who want complete bags... will let you know when I know when they will sell them...think this weekend since everyone was away today...
I know that in the past years gargy has released a range of bag size - did all the shops in the states just get sets of a single size bag???? What happened in Japan?
Yeah... just a single bag size this year for us. I would imagine that there was only one size in Japan as well - the auctions on YJA seem to make this likely.
Overall I thought the bags were great this year: -variety of figures (zokki, fight, "other") -variety of finishes/techniques: clear, glow, clear AND glow -the hedoran is just plain rad -a GAMEPPA!...I mean people were sort of joking/hoping there would be one but to have one actually included in the bag was surprising and cool -a chance at handpainted figures made it more exciting than last year Was it "perfect"? Of course not but you can't be all things to all people. I love cigarette harm man and dokuroman so those were big bonuses to me personally, but I can understand people being a bit disappointed if you're not into a variety of Garg stuff. Also the paint job on the Gameppa doesn't really do much for me but the base vinyl is awesome.
I was hoping for a Deathra too....and would've paid more for another large figure....I thought for sure we'd see some clear pink unpainted Zags from the HMV release.....or even a clear large Zag from the SDCC run....still pumped tho'...
Oh I'm glad they're producing more of this sculpt... more pilots for my zag plane... You gotta figure that since they made the new sculpt, they're gonna produce more of them to get the cost effectiveness out of it.
I agree overall. I think it was an awesome selection of stuff, the vinyl/color combos are cool and of course GID/Clear is always the coolest. I think the ONLY thing that would have made it PERFECT, for me, is if there was a bit more than 7 figures. I mean each bag had 7, but a different mish-mash, just for surprise sake. Still some cool stuff all in all. I like MORE of this years than I did of last.
I was asking the same thing....I had thought that in the past there was like...a "small" and "large" bag......but I guess they went for like...a "medium" bag only, all around? So what year was this Lucky Bag from? I have to believe it was more than $400......
