Ugh, I work overnights and must have finally gone to sleep less than a half hour before these went up, then my alarm (phone) died while I was sleeping... guess this one wasn't meant to be.
Doesn't $100 for a brand new toy seem high. He's about the same size as a normal fight figure, i think, and they cost $35 less. Why's this guy more?
It has 5 points of articulation. Despite being just a bit taller than a fight figure it's definitely larger than a fight figure. And the scales on the body are all detailed by hand (that'd take a long time!). These painted ones are more expensive than the clear was. Also, I'm assuming these are made in much smaller runs since they're new and unproven figures.

I was shocked by the price also, but like NT said, the complex paint job and the POA make it a very nice figure.
retail price in Japan was actually more than the full sized Zags. Ojo Rojo is listed as 7500 yen, Zags are 6300 yen. The clears were $80 though, so maybe it has to do with the paint.
You guys have had a good run. That's the regular average landed price we pay down here for most stuff. Things have never looked better for us here downunder!
