I was looking at this when I was home for the holiday and my mom caught a glance over my shoulder of it and now thinks I'm a grand wizard...wonderful...
it was posted long before the combining smartass. and see...now you got to see something new. the transformed SB is working
Damn, it's like you're in "newb" mode http://www.lulubelltoys.com/cord-viper-zabel-gid.html Or "I don't give a damn" mode. I've been there.
All grand wizard implications aside, I also dig this figure. I see it more as some 15th century hooded executioner guy than, well you know....
I have to say with this colorway you get more of the vintage comic villan vibe and less of the other one. Very nice!
Is that white pattern down the front of his robe actually raised detail in the sculpt? Or was it just spray-masked on?
Raised detail. Despite our tendencies to assign the form of this figure to something horrible in this country, Kiyuni is absolutely the nicest fellow, and has only creative impulse on display here, absolutely nothing more. This is a cool figure, and reminds me of the old school Rolling Thunder arcade game baddies: There is a "Mild Seven" version coming as well: (j/k)
i've been tempted to pick some of these up many times. the red sparkle looks good, wish lulubell had a bigger picture of it....
so is anyone else tempted to slap this guy on a shelf holding hands with one of the upcoming MJ sofubi releases
I like the purple and black colors but I would never have one of these in my collection. maybe if the hoods could be removed. It's just not my style...
I really like the new purple painted one as well...!!! I totally dig the creepy executioner style vibe he's emitting from under his cold and heartless mask...
