Because everybody in-store gets taken care of first, any leftover after that gets put online. Sometimes not many make it online.
Although I can't speak for the staff or their policies or operations, my understanding is that a larger number are set aside for Web and phone sales prior to the release commencing. From what I've seen on Saturday morning releases, generally only about four to seven people show up specifically for these sorts of releases at 11am. I've been told that in-store sales "sold out" very quickly to very few people, while a larger number of people were able to get the figure via Web and phone. Point being that it's really clear that S7 tries to make these things as fair as possible, and are very sensitive to the fact that most Skullbrainers don't live in SF. Non-SF people aren't just getting SF leftovers, in other words.
Normally that's true, but when October rolls around things can get kinda busy... with the forthcoming S7 October series(es), attendance at the store grows with each passing saturday. It has the past few years anyway.
That makes sense. I've seen a lot of enthusiasm for the October S7 releases at other toy boards from people I don't recognize as Skullbrainers. Maybe it's the All Hallows' spirit. Anyway, OG perspective appreciated.
The first picture I saw of it, I thought Booska. Then I got a good look at those shades and thought... Either way, I'm looking forward to a morning of hitting F5!
Awesome! I'm glad I popped into this forum - hoping to score myself a Booska RxH on my birthday! I just love the Booska colorways and there's no way I could afford the original pink one.
There is enough to go around. Well depend on how many is enough...hehehehe Don't worry. I'm sure everyone will get one.
Yay! Thanks 1M for this info Hiro, I was already wondering whether I needed to spend almost 8 hours driving, just to be there in person. And even more, thanks for this item - I am SO psyched about this release. I recently traded my eBay clear-pink Booska away to get a tough Chaos that I really wanted, so I'm particularly happy to see this fellow appear just now, ready to step into the gap left by that trade. Toy Karma works! CC
Sorry Miami but nothing will fill in that clear pink booska gap , besides the original brown just saying ..
I hope that anyone cosplaying would feel awkward in the first place. They're like one rung below furries on the disgusting ladder. I guess it could be worse, they could be cosplaying as anime characters.
