I'm sure they check it more than anyone else, actually, they just don't chime in. It'd be pretty difficult to defend yourself if you know you're a scumbag.

These types of opportunistic, greedy individuals that come and go into this hobby don't ruin it for me*. It's just disappointing on a personal level when others (the flippers, losers and others who support or condone said or similar shady acts) feel that it's entirely ok to take advantage of someone / a situation. It's more than just a toy, it's their personality.

* But I certainly am glad that I don't collect the same hyped shit that they flip.

It makes an interesting read for anyone who wasn't around 6 years ago. Apparently, what's going on in here (and a few other threads) doesn't hold a candle to what was going on back then. It's nice to put things into perspective. I do think the mods should be a little more involved. At least a warning, strike, something. It's basically consequence free for people who have thrown it in our face on this board.

I Know he was part of the whole "New york crew" but he did do shady things behind everybody's back. I notice that a lot Mark. I see it all the time on ebay. People buy toys on Yahoo Japan or Mandarake and then list them jacked up on ebay (often with the same pics). It's really amusing to me though because sofubi collectors are a tight knit group, and these idiots have clearly not considered most of us already go to these same places and can get them much cheaper.

Advice to flippers: Stop- we know about these places already, we can get them as cheaply as you can. You're not pulling a fast one you just look dumb!
