Neat website... found via geotaro's blog.

    http://maruwo.hp.infoseek.co.jp/pachi2.htm

Essentially, a gallery of patchi-kaiju cards from Yokopro and Yamapro.

This provides some interesting insight into the origins of the characters produced by companies like Amapro, Skullheadbutt, etc. The first card is Howatos, released as Howaton from Skullheadbutt. The second card is Saihatari, which was released in vinyl form by Amapro. Third card is Daigoras, which was Wombat Toys' contribution to the Art Storm Sofubi Monsters Set B. And so on. I love this stuff... so cool.

Check the links at the bottom for other interesting images... not all cards. Some seem to be model kit box art and other print materials.

Sorry if this is old hat for some members. I thought it was neat, and new to me. :) But this is bad... now I want some of these toys.

the kaiju seem like an endless pool of ideas for toys.

who owns the character rights for these or is it a free for all?

Holy cruds those are some sweet links -- Thanks, guys!

I remember seeing a very small, cropped image of that Howaton card in one of datadub's flickr galleries from way back. Such a badass image and toy. I wish I had the Mezora Aurora version that I've been seeking forever.

That one that abe posted is amazing. I wish to hell someone would make a mini or standard sized toy that tusked skelecreature.

I see Betarus, Heater, H, and all of the Ultra kaiju of course. Those standalone kaiju in those three images at the bottom are so rad. I wanna make posters of them or something.

I think it's an 'adaptation' of Seabozu. Seabozu did not have tusks, however.

You might be thinking of Seaboze? He's kind of skeletal looking.

I've never seen a kaiju like that one -- The horn, tusks, 'fins' on the back of his skull coming from his mandible, etc. He's badass.

Edit: Daniel beat me to it.

Adding my thanks, those cards are amazing.

Do they come up on YJA for any reasonable price?

    Or, has anyone reprinted them?

If they show up on YJA, can anyone suggest a search string that would find 'em?

Basically, and in keeping with the acquisitive nature of SB generally, what I'm askin' here is of course --

"Can I get some of these of my very own, and if so, how and where?"
