Maybe we can keep the other thread on politics/policy, but you know there's gonna be some funny Palin stuff ... Here we go - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-QevraCQUc
"She can (shoot, field-dress, butcher, cure and) bring home moose bacon, Fry it up in a pan, ... And still make you fee-ee-eel like a man" Just got this pic by email - Damned if that's not indeed every single sexy lawyer/librarian/etc. ever on Skinemax.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iq1z5yko5HI Misread the title as pain initially. This clip rules. Note the guy asking if skater dude is ok after the impact knocks his shoe off.
A fertile womb is the difference. If Hillary's drones are so vapid as to buy this ticket (the big Republican poll bounce say's they are that vapid) then they deserve what's going to happen to their freedom as well as the Jeebus theocracy the Republican party has been seeking to impose. Women's rights will take a blow worse than that skater kid but at least a woman will be in the White House albeit a really fertile religious zealot who thinks a Chimpanzee in a suit's personal war is god's will.
Sorry mate, but I don't think is she gets it is should be viewed as "breaking through the glass ceiling". I think it will be a sad sad day, that will only be regretted.
That part should've been in purple. If Palin gets in its not breaking the glass ceiling, she's too fanatically supportive of rolling back any social progress. If Hillary's supporters her put her there then they asked for the loss of freedom and civil liberty. She believes dinosaurs were satan's lizards...
(Except for the parts about ... ummm, being well-read. And freedom of the press. And open-mindedness. And smarts.) "Aides traveling with Ms. Palin have reported back to associates that she is a fast study — asking few questions of her policy briefers but quickly repeating back their main points." and "A former aide in Alaska who had helped prepare Ms. Palin for her campaign debates there said ... she generally prefers light preparatory materials to heavy briefing books ... ." So, we know 1) that she can mouth the talking points, and 2) that she prefers 'light' prep work to 'heavy briefing.' Sound familiar? Bush always "preferred executive summaries to prolonged reports." I mean, all that reading about details and subtleties and nuance is so hard! Sigh ...
marswillrule, that cartoon is definitely over the appropriate line. i am not a fan of sarah palin or her policies, and satarizing her is fine, but this cartoon goes too far into territory that wont fly here. please remove it. thank you.
