I'm having a ball over here.
It's a struggle, trying to keep the Japan toy look and not wanting to go a bit beyond and go for some Americal style monster color. It's a fine balance,but I think it all works nice in the middle.

The worse part is, I WANT A MINI HEDORAN NOW

That is so hard. Self restraint and keeping it less is more. I really admire artists who can keep things so simple yet create such an impact and keep things so true to a figure's style.

Did you replace the eyes?

 

thats really fantastic--is it pearlescent paint or is it paint on pearlescent vinyl?

 

If the original paint looked that good I would buy one! What an improvement.

A fine mist of silver over transparent paint and all glow vinyl.

The eyes are rhinestones stuck in with aileen's tacky glue, perfect fit.

The Zen:

Imagine you have 100 figs to paint all exactly alike, you have to fool yourself to be efficient on just the one and follow certain rules.


I love it when people let me go nuts, but some figures require traditional looking touch.

I'm just nuts about the flourescent pink. It's such a candy-shop looking color.
