I just went to the PEZ Factory & Visitor Center in CT last week. If you are into PEZ or vintage ads check out my Flickr set. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jordan_lei ... 043472873/ Only $5 to get in PEZ Visitor Center 35 Prindle Hill Rd Orange, CT 06477
If you are in the Bay Area, there is a Pez Museum in Burlingame http://www.burlingamepezmuseum.com/pezexhibit.html (this is mainly the store sales link, but there really is a museum in the store) It's within a tiny Pez shop, run by a jolly old gent. I think admission is $1, just to make sure you are geniune about it, but he gives you a full tour (lots of dispensers, signage, old toys too), and will talk to you forever--if you let him . It's about a 20 minute drive, southward, on the 101 freeway. I really want the original old Mr. Potato set he has in the museum! Good lunch spots in the vicinity too.
I grew up collecting PEZ, and seeing those showcases full of multiple copies of extremely rare pieces is pretty incredible. MIB Eerie Spectres, a gang of OG Space Guns, and 11 or so full body Santas?! Baller... Thanks for sharing!
Fun Fact: The road on which the PEZ factory is located is named after my family, who came from Scottland and settled in the area many years ago. My grandmother of the same surname still lives right down the street in West Haven. That being said, I've never actually been inside the PEZ factory. I didn't know they had a tour or visitor center but I think I'll take a drive up there soon... and stop in to see my Grandma too Thanks for posting this!!
Little Softee, throwback to the OG Softee, by RealHead and Copy Robot. I think you can still get them on Popsoda's web shop.
