Hmm. The alleged 'comedy' of Seth Rogen escapes me. I couldn't even make it through 'Knocked up". I'm sure this one will make it into my Netflix Queue at some point in time, so I'll reserve final judgment until then...
IMO "KnockedUp" wasn't a comedy at all - maybe 1 or 2 funny parts but Id slot it as more of a romantic comedy that your wife/GF would like - it was the worst of the bunch from that crew for sure PE on the other hand is def the best yet of the bunch
Me neither. I watch reruns on dvd all the time. I'd argue it also had the best opening song in tv history. I hate to say it but I have caught myself dancing and singing when the show's beginning.
lots of great acting and writing on freaks and geeks. anybody know if the yearbook version of the dvd set is worth it?
idk what all the hype about knocked up was for, that movie was (like said) not that funny, and really not that great either. superbad on the other hand i found hilarious. and i think pineapple express looks promising.
i saw seth rogan at the toy tokyo booth yesterday, buying tons of shit. he had the 400% kubrick alien, not sure what else. what a nerd
yes I want to see pineapple express. 40yr virgin is one of my fav movies and I highly doubt pineapple will disappoint. ftw I did not like knocked up, I gave away my copy. there is a great billboard of pineapple on Hollywood blvd. it has seth and the other dude w/ a giant pineapple, the stem and leaf area of the pineapple look just like marijuana leaves and every 10 min a hudge puff of smoke comes out of the leaves for like a minute. its pretty f'n cool. ps - the pineapple guys were at SDCC giving away weed scented pineapple shaped car air fresheners. try explaning that to the cop.. no sir I was not smoking... its the air freshener.
Another great one. So depressing that to survive on tv you have to follow a dumb formula with a static narrative arc. Bleh
