At 3pm eastern exactly I had them both in my cart in a minute or two. First the Big guy sold out at check out and when I went to check out the little guy HE sold out!!!
I almost cried
then I was just mad
I'm ok now ... unless someone is flipping them, them I will be mad again

can't they lock the cart for a few minutes??????
FAB.com holds for 10 minutes before they put them back on the shelf

 

^^^ same thing happened to me, but if you think about it whoever puts it in cart gets the toy, basically. I dont think that is fair, since its not paid.

I've lucked out sometimes and others not, this one was not meant to be. ahahaha.

I HATE the cart system that most online retailers use! I think that if you have it in your cart, you should have an allotted amount of time to make the purchase (maybe 5 minutes or so) before releasing the item back into the wild. Seems fair.

 

Having a cart system, it's a double edge sword. Whenever I have a sale, there are always a few guys who add it to the cart and don't check out, I use big cartel and it holds items for 10 minutes once added. So people think an item is sold out when it's not, or have to sit around for 10 minutes refreshing rapidly, or PM me, to try and pull the item from the store.

I think a hold time in the neighborhood of 2 - 5 minutes is a reasonable feature for any cart system to have. 10 minutes seems excessive.

The Ticketmaster process of showing you the countdown and giving you 3 min or so to complete your order is pretty clean and simple. Granted, its not like everyone can use their cart system so yeah.

One would think that when you click through to your PayPal you would have something left in your cart to pay for. It's like entering your card code at the counter at the store while someone takes the things you're paying for...

Anywho it was two minutes of happiness while I had them in my cart!

 

With TAG make sure you're already logged in and using a CC is faster than Paypal. That's always been my experience.

No matter what the cart scenario is there's always going to be problems or complaints. Kinda what JoeMan was saying.

 

I wasn't complaining, I was just crying not to be fast enough.

Yeah, I had a custom kaiser in the cart. And I wasn't fast enough either.
Oh well. Plenty more PK and Blobpus custom work available in the future.
I have been more than lucky with help from others.
So I congratulate anyone who got what they where going after.

I am just happy to have eye candy to stare at for the next few weeks.
