Thanks guys! Nefasth => Those are hard to find and only on Japanese auctions. The problem is many people always bid on those figures and it is why I had to try many times. Recently won the nakajima Hutch and will receive him soon. 20 times for win this guy XD. bbb => yes all are soft vinyl. Only the large pokemon Shaymyn sky. He is soft vinyl but his "moose woods" are plastic.
very cool these characters bring back so many memories. nice to see the english names, i watched most of these shows in french.
What a great splash of colour!! And indeed an excellent direction in your collection, brings back many memories as almost all the seventies anime characters in your collection were very popular back then in Italy. That Tatsunoko Pinocchio is excellent! Thanks for sharing
Great colorful vintage collection ! Congrats and welcome. Yes it is. It's a character from Go Nagai. I think we shared the same TV series in France !
I have a real soft spot for the cute stuff . . . and your collection is about as kawaii as it gets A lot of this sort of stuff goes for an absolute fortune on the Mandarake site. Love the Puss n' Boot Nagagutsu especially !!
Thanks very much for the comments, I'm glad you like and many have good memories. Yes many are from vintage classic Japanese anime . sensensempompom => I also watched it in French, I'm from Quebec, but on the net I learnt a lot about other languages titles. The Moog => I know...I had been lucky for some figures and found good deals, so all the Hutch the honeybee figures are very expensive. So Japanese vinyl shops have more expensive prices than the prices on auctions. I sold other collectible for pay those amasing vinyls.
Wow! Lots of cuteness here! My favorite is the Rocky Chuck Gang Rakiko, I read your post on cleaning vintage vinyls, and your whole collection looks sparkling clean. Did you mix the bleach with water when you gave your toys a bath, or did you use pure bleach?
sorry for the delay, I'm gonna share some painting works I did since a week. First experience of painting toys. First I painted those small figures from "Don Chuck" My second work... you need to look at my old post here : viewtopic.php?f=30&t=11574&start=75 so this figure was very clean after the bath...but so missing paint and faded colors... What I've painted: * full eyes (white and black) *beside her head all the green was faded * full arms and legs ...and red shoes. * yellow belly full painted her look now:
Last week I received my large Suicune soft vinyl (a Pokemon) and the witch Sally finger puppets set from Japan:
