    The Vilesore figures were actually from a different exhibition… Retroband opened his own gallery in San Antonio, Texas — the Form Gallery — and these were available at the opening there over this past weekend.

    Went out hoping to see a friend there, but he couldn't make it. Still had a lovely time meeting folks and getting photos of the work.

    Is that pink with the yellow shorts and orange bug eyes marbled pink? Or is itnoainted?

    Believe that chap is marble with the details painted in. I'm actually curious about Unbox's process for marbled vinyl, because you can see they're incredibly consistent. Not the kind of crazy variation I'm used to at all. A plus if you're going for a specific look across the run, but it means you don't get the surprise of a total knockout pour.

    Those MABA MEATS are really tight!

    I will say though, a show of just 1 sculpt a week after his own gallery opening seems like a bit much.

    C'mon man, it's pretty impressive for an artist to bust out 50% of their sculpts for a show ;)

    Jokes aside, Retroband spins his stuff in some fantastically creative ways, to get a lot of life out of Meats. But you're right; one sculpt is one sculpt.

    What he does with accessories, clothes and different doodads in the eyes is great. He has a great way of breathing new life into things. Hell, I wish MORE artists found someone to make little clothes for some of their sculpts.

    It just seems like selling hundreds of copies of the same sculpt in two major cities in the span of a week is a biiiiiit much.

    It's hand-painted that way, not marbled. The black/purple/blue edition of 10 was marbled by Unbox. :)
