I just learned that Scott “ @¡DEECO! “ Godon-DeCoteau passed away in an accident in Denmark yesterday. He leaves behind his wife and 2-year-old son. He had not been active here lately, much like I, but we were friends on FB and he was literally always bursting with love and positivity, often posting about his passion for biking and his family (though never enough about Lego!). It’s strange how the death of someone I’ve never met and only know through a fb filter can affect me so much. Rest in peace Scott. You were one of the good ones.
Sad to learn of this news as well, Oli. A loss to a young family is especially difficult. Thank you for sharing this here; despite the sadness it is appreciated. We've lost too many of our good crew on here, and as you said, it is surprising - and something you often only come to realise too late, in such very unfortunate circumstances - how much we can develop relationships with people through seemingly random connections like this board. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts go out to all those who loved him, and offer sympathy in their time of grief. Rest in peace, Scott.
