Finally had my Flesh ones painted ... And in an attempt to adhere to Mori's preference re: RxH customs, no cash was exchanged, payment was in vinyl only.
Some of the individual ones that were done in this way look great and very cool...but as a set..i personally think it looks like a bird shat on them. Maybe some better pics will help?
DAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMN. Thats hurtful. They're not bad IMHO. I think that b/c so much detail and texture is already in the character sculpt, the paint loses the actual characters, because the colors and paint design are so complex.
oh, for a moment there i was thinking the company that grades comics (http://www.CGCcomics.com) started dabbling in toy customizing. Then I realized, these things would be in big, bulky, air-tight plastic cases if they were.....

I'd maybe ask him to have something else to eat first, but besides that I would have CGC puke on my toys anyday. The Bigaro looks like alien marble - beautiful.
I'm not at all surprised that these are love-it or hate-it, personally I love 'em. It is a seriously crappy pic, maybe I'll try for better if the sun ever comes out again here in 95437 (currently at 9 days and counting without even the briefest peek at Sol).
